A Major Sioux Indian Position at Baker's Battle

This image shows the largest Sioux Indian position. At least 50 armed Sioux, Northern Cheyenne, and Northern Arapaho warriors occupied this position during the battle on the Yellowstone. The cartridge casings found in this position reveal that the warriors were armed with Winchester, Henry, Springfield, Sharps, Ballards and other weapons.
