The Baker Battle Report was finished on January o7, 2004. This 431 page report details the historical and archeological work completed on this battle between Major Eugen M. Baker's 4 companies of the 2nd cavalry and 4 companies of the 7th infantry and approximately 800 Sioux, Northern Cheyenne, and Arapaho on the banks of the Yellowstone River, August 14, 1872.
